1983 VAUXHALL ASTRA GTE MKI

Having last been used in 1998, this 1983 Vauxhall Astra GTE MkI ‘hot hatch’ (registered in April of that year) now requires recommissioning. It has been owned by our vendor since 1985 and been a local car since new, covering 78,516 miles in total according to the odometer. Just two registered keepers overall are recorded on the V5C. The car does not run and no attempt has been made to start it, given that it has been in storage for a quarter of a century. The brakes are also inoperative. The documentation accompanying the Vauxhall includes the V5C, radio instructions and original book pack with owner's manual and service book, stamped up to 60,778 miles in March 1992.
