1967 MG B ROADSTER 

1,798cc. From the deceased estate and collection of Jeff Ward. This MG B Roadster was purchased by Jeff Ward in 1991 for investment purposes and has remained in storage since around 1996. During its previous ownership from 1983 to 1991, the car was subject to restoration works. Following acquisition in 1991, the car suffered mechanical issues resulting in Geoff Allen of Abingdon carrying out an engine overhaul, an invoice for this is on file. More recently it benefits from a new fuel pump and water pump. 

The accompanying Heritage certificate confirms that OFD 240F is a right-hand drive home market car produced on the 3rd July 1967. It was finished in Tartan red with black upholstery. Its original equipment included wire sheels, overdrive, a heater and anti-roll bar. 

The history file contains some MoT's from 1983 to 1996 at 103,206 miles, current and copy older V5's dating from 1977 and showing four owners since, a large quantity of receipts from the 1980's and 1990's, original handbook, Heritage certificate and spare keys. The mileage is currently recorded at 103,228.

Jeff Ward (1937-2022): Joining the 750 Motor Club at the age of twenty, Jeff started competing with an Austin 7 Special before progressing via a self-built 750 Formula Car and the ex-Rob Easterling Rejo to a Chevron. A founder of the London Special Builders Group and author of The Special Builders Guide, he helped countless others up the motorsport ladder. His business making trailer lighting boards attracted contracts from the AA and the RACE which helped fund his car and motorcycle collection.
