Anglia Car Auctions

Auction Information

We would really like to hear from you about your classic car whether it's by telephone or email so that we can discuss with you it's potential entry in one of our five classic sales held each year.

The number of entries has continued to increase and it is important that both of us are happy with the valuation before we proceed. This ensures that we are able to offer the best selection of cars at the right price.

So, firstly we need to be able to view the car either in person or by email. We need information such as service history or other documents, has it been in long-term single/family ownership, does it have its original buff log and or a current V5, is it MoT'd, a description of its general condition both of the exterior and interior, is it running, does it have an original handbook, etc. and what sort of price you are hoping to achieve.

Questions & Answers:

Q: How soon can I drop my car off at the auction?

A: As soon as the previous auction has finished.  We have enough undercover space to securely store it for you.

QCan ACA collect my vehicle?

AWe can collect and deliver cars that are to be sold and bought at an ACA auction. Our transport charges are very competitive so please call the in-house team for a quote on 01553 771881. Transportation within a 200 miles radius can be handled in-house utilising either our two car or five car transporter. We usually try to combine deliveries in order to keep costs to a minimum. Please call us for a quote.

Q: What about longer UK delivery options?

A: We endeavour to collect as many vehicles ourselves as possible but occasionally we are unable to do this competitively for single collections from an area that we are currently travelling to.  Transportation over 200 miles is normally arranged through NG Logistics, contact Neil Gaskins on 07909 520579.  NG Logistics provides a very efficient, professional and competitive service and have transported many classics for us whether collecting them to be offered for auction or delivering to purchasers afterwards.  Neil is always present at our classic sales and able to provide you with an approximate delivery date and quote at the time.

Q: Can ACA send my vehicle overseas to Europe?

A: Many of our overseas customers use Car-Port, based in Germany.  They are able to combine individual collections with the larger collections and travel to the UK 2/3 times each week.  Their website address is www.car-port-online.de and email:  infor@car-port-online.de.  For enquiries telephone Hardy on +49 (0)172 4 51 11 14 or +49 (0)431 54 89 76. Alternatively, try Covered Vehicle Transport to all European destinations with  www.advatec.co.uk.

Q: Can ACA deliver my vehicle internationally?

A: For international shipping, we use George Baker in Felixstowe at www.georgebakershipping.com. We have sent 16 vehicles to the Far East in the past two years and George Baker has provided an excellent service.

Q: When do I receive the funds from the sale of my vehicle?

A: Assuming that your vehicle has been paid in full, cheques are posted first class on the second Wednesday, which is eight working days, after the auction has been held.

Q: Can ACA store my vehicle?

A: Storage before and after each classic car auction is free of charge for two weeks. All vehicles are stored under cover with full colour digital CCTV.
