IN PERSON BIDDING
Our auctions are open to the public. Simply come along on the day and register your details in the office. You will be required to pay a deposit of £500 in order to bid at a modern sale or £500 at a classic sale, which is fully refundable if you do not make a purchase. You will then be issued with a bidding number. It may be easier to pay your deposit by cash which can be handed back to you immediately if you are not successful. A card refund can take a few days to credit your account. If your bid is successful the remaining balance must be paid by bank transfer within 2 working days.
TELEPHONE & COMMISSION BIDS
A telephone bid allows you to bid live at the time the vehicle or item is being offered through one of our representatives. Please note there is limited availability on this facility.
The auctioneer will bid automatically for you up to your confirmed maximum amount.
With regards to both of the above options, we like to be assured that we have provided you with as much information as we possibly can, so a walk-round description over the telephone can be arranged.
To register to bid by telephone or place a commission bid, please complete the form below. Details of the deposit required will be displayed once you have completed your details. In respect of the classic sale, all registrations must be completed and deposits received by 6pm the Friday before a Saturday sale and by 6pm on Saturday for a Sunday sale.
DEPOSIT & PAYMENT
A deposit of 10% of the lower guide price, or a minimum of £500 up to a sale of £5,000. If you are unsuccessful this will be refunded on the Monday and Tuesday after the sale. You will need to allow an additional three to four working days for the funds to be credited to your card. Please call the office on 01553 777444 after completing the form below to make payment via debit card. If you are successful and make a winning bid, you will be emailed an invoice. This will show the full price of the purchase including hammer price of the car plus the buyer's premium. You must pay this in full by bank transfer, details below, by the Wednesday following the auction.

Bids for a Classic Auction that are made after 6pm on the Friday before Saturday's auction and after 6pm on the Saturday for Sunday's auction, cannot be guaranteed. If your bid has been taken provisionally by the auctioneer due to it being lower than the vendors reserve, your deposit will be held until it is confirmed whether your bid has been accepted which we endeavour to finalise as soon as possible.
