1974 PEUGEOT 304 CABRIOLET

A restoration project in progress, this 1288cc Peugeot 304 Cabriolet is a UK-from-new car, having been registered here in November 1974. Originally green, the Peugeot is now red, its colour having been changed in March 1990 according to DVLA records. Its odometer indicates 89,426 miles; its last MoT expired in November 2009, having been tested the previous year at 89,418 miles. Paperwork accompanying the 304 includes an old style V5, MoT certificates from 1998, 2006 and 2008, French technical manual and a copy of Practical Classics magazine from July 2007 featuring an article on Peugeot 304 Cabriolets. There's also some Club Peugeot UK magazines, owner's handbook, service book (albeit only stamped through to 1977 at 39,822 miles) and various invoices from the 1990s and first decade of the 21st century, plus some handwritten itemised expenses from the 1990s. In addition, the file also contains a page from The Sun newspaper dated August 17, 1995, featuring a picture of the car in a piece about 1975 cars. The gold car is also included in the sale.
