2000 FORD ESCORT FINESSE

With the introduction of the Ford Focus in 1998, the Escort range was reduced to just two variants; the Flight and the Finesse. The Flight was the more basic model, the Finesse added alloy wheels, air conditioning, a CD player, fog lamps and metallic paint to the mix. This example was registered in October 2000, so was sold after Escort production had finished. The car has had just two registered keepers overall; two sisters, one of whom owned it for a year and the other who had it from then onwards until now. The mileage indicated on the odometer is circa 49,000, warranted by the history, with the car's last service at around 47,000 miles. The car is MoT'd through to October 2023. The vendor describes it as in full working order, including the air conditioning, with the Escort driven 100 miles to the sale.   

The car comes with an extensive history that includes its V5C, invoices and MoT certificates covering much of its  life, and the original sale receipt (for £7153.04). There's also the original book pack with owner's manual, audio guide and service book, tax disc holder and service book, which is stamped up to 43,451 miles in October 2018 - although there is evidence of further servicing beyond this. There's also a spare set of keys as well.
