1998 VW T3/T25 MICROBUS CAMPER 

While production of the T3/T25 Volkswagen Transporter range ceased in 1991 in Germany, it continued in South Africa through to 2002. This Hi Top Camper Two Berth example features its original 2.6-litre five-cylinder fuel-injected Audi engine (an option not available on European T3/T25s) plus five-speed manual gearbox. It was built in 1998 but not imported into the UK and registered here until November 2001. Since then, it has had two registered keepers, making three overall since it was new. The vendor has owned it for the past eight years. Its odometer shows 80,032km and its MoT is valid until December 2024. The Microbus features air conditioning (which was recharged in June 2022), power steering, an Alpine stereo/DVD/CD player, 13 speakers, amp under the rear seat and colour TV/DVD, plus two new batteries. A fridge, gas cooker and onboard fresh water tank and sink are fitted, although the vendor notes that they may require some attention before use.   

The vendor tells us that the VW runs, starts and stops as expected, and it has received intermittent use over the vendor's eight years of ownership. A new cambelt and waterpump were fitted in April 2016 when Waxoyling was also carried out. Accompanying paperwork includes the V5C and book pack with owner's handbook, South African documentation, and service book stamped up to August 2014 at 72,138km plus Hornet alarm book, TV/DVD instructions, Alpine radio/DVD/Bluetooth manuals, export/import documentation, MoTs and invoices and two full sets of working keys and fobs.
