1972 TRIUMPH SPITFIRE 1500

This 1972 Triumph Spitfire, registered in October of that year, received a body-off restoration during 2013/2014. The vendor, who has owned it for nine years, drove it over 25 miles to the auction. He describes it as having no known issues and running well, with only light use over the last few years. The hood is reported to be well-used. The car has received upgrades such as an oil cooler and shock absorbers.  The odometer shows 90,312 miles and the last MoT expired in July 2018 after being tested the previous year at an indicated 90,168 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Triumph no longer requires annual testing. History with the Spitfire includes the V5C, some invoices and MoT certificates, and a print-out of a Rimmer Bros parts catalogue.
