THE AUCTION WILL BE OPEN FOR PUBLIC ATTENDANCE [SOME RESTRICTIONS MAY APPLY]. YOU CAN WATCH THE AUCTION LIVE ON YOUTUBE
Bidding live at the sale, online, by telephone or commission
Our next classic auction on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th January will run as scheduled, crowd attendance is permitted so bidding will be live as well as remote. The auction starts 10:30 am on both days with automobilia being offered before the first car is offered at midday. The auctioneer usually runs through 45 to 50 lots per hour.
Viewing is available to the trade and the public. Specific cars can be viewed by appointment anytime but blanket viewings are now offered from 9am to 4pm on Thursday 27th & Friday 28th January. You do not need to book a slot. If you wish to arrange your own professional inspection of any vehicle, please call us to discuss. Finally, we have always offered impromptu telephone walk-round descriptions but we now employ the services of independent appraisers who will be on-site from Monday 23rd August to Friday 25th August to provide unbiased assessments and trades-eye views of the cars. Ultimately the decision to purchase rests with yourself and each car has to be taken on its own merits. For example, if it has been stored for a long time, even if it has been subject to recommissioning, this does not guarantee that you can just arrive, get in the car and drive it away. It may require care and attention. Its age, mileage and general value is all to be taken into consideration. Many of the cars will have been on site for several weeks and batteries, etc., will go flat. Common sense must prevail. Please accept that any car may well require some level of recommissioning, however minimal.
Cars: There is a buyers premium of 8% (+vat) to be added to your bid price which is applicable to each purchase. Please note that a minimum charge of £160 (+vat) applies on any purchase up to £2,000.
Motorcycles: The fee applicable to motorcycle purchases is 8% (+vat) with a minimum charge of £75 (+vat) on any purchase up to £950.
Automobilia & Registration Plates: The fee applicable to automobilia purchases is 15% (+vat). No minimum fee applies.
The invoice amount, including the buyer's premium and vat, must be paid in full directly into the bank on or before the Wednesday following the auction. All accounts need to be settled by the Wednesday after the auction.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: A bank charge is payable for each transfer made within the EU of £7 and £15 for all other countries, this will added to your invoice.
