This lovely example has been owned by the same family since 1972, it is being offered by the daughter of the third owner, having inherited the car on her father's passing in 1998, himself a member of the AMOC. Always garage stored during her ownership, the car has covered around 7,000 miles in the last twenty years having been used for occasional, local trips. Since 1965 it has been owned by three people who are all in the medical profession and all known to each other. The first owner, who retained the car for a year, registered it on number plate TB5. The Heritage certificate confirms that it was originally white with a black leather interior, fitted with triple SU HD8 carburettors, Girling brakes, Powr Lok 3.77:1 limited slip differential and Dunlop RS5 tyres.

Anecdotes from the vendor: "I was due to drive us both away from the church in the DB5 on our wedding day, but it ended up getting stranded at the local Tesco because I lost the rotor arm, which I had removed to immobilise it. On another occasion, I was working as a junior doctor in a hospital in London when I recognised the name of one of the patients. He was the owner prior to my father-in-law and his previous boss. I had never met him, and introduced myself. He was delighted that we still had his old car and remembered it very fondly. Needless to say, most doctors could not afford such a wonderful car these days and we are very lucky to have had stewardship of it for so long. We hope that the new owners get as much pleasure from it as we have had, and enjoy driving it. Ian"
