1,781cc. The Aurelia B10 sedan was the first new Lancia model after World War II and the first V6 engine in production. The body is constructed in steel with aluminium doors, bonnet, boot rear mudguards, bumper and most trim. Believed to be eligible for the Mille Miglia, it is described as largely original and unmodified and is believed to be the only one on the road in the UK. It is understood that it is currently fitted with engine number B10‑2554 although the original engine B10‑5203 comes with the car and will be available for collection from the vendors address. Supplied new in Melbourne, Australia where it remained for 64 years, it appears to have had four owners prior to coming to the UK and was mostly owned by Lancia, and in particular Aurelia, enthusiasts. We have been informed that the last owner from 2005 until 2015, when exported to the UK, was a prominent Lancia Club member in Sydney. He had covered over 40,000 miles on club runs and described it as a reliable and comfortable touring car with an endearing character. Our vendor purchased the car in 2018 to add to his small private collection which is now being sold off. It comes with ownership information, various documents, Lancia dating certificate, 2018 bill of sale and original instruction book. The mileage is recorded at 79,151.
