He describes it as a labour of love, stating that he likes to keep it authentic but uprates where needed. For example, due to the double‑spring he has added anti‑roll bars to improve the ride, electronic ignition, power steering, electric wipers and servo. There are many receipts on file, mostly for parts ordered from the USA.
