Lot Number: 112
Result inc Premium: £4,320
- V5 Present
- MoT Exempt
- Chassis number: MA2SSD1009072
The Morris Minor is one of Britain's most‑loved classics, and in convertible form, combines practicality and character with the option to throw back the roof and truly enjoy the driving experience on a nice, sunny day. This example, in an attractive combination of white with a red soft‑top, is described by the vendor as a 'good driving car' with a 'strong engine', having been driven some distance to ACA. It has a recorded mileage of 45,540 miles, although as there's little paperwork, this isn't warranted. However, looking back over the online MoT history, the mileage in 2006 was 42,461, so this has been a lightly‑used vehicle for quite some time. The V5 is present, and the last owner had the vehicle for 12 years.
While this Morris looks to have been resprayed quite recently, the hood will need attention as will the two front seats ‑ there's a split in the driver's one and sagging in the passenger one. The car will come with a spare set of keys plus tools, some running spares in the boot, and the bonus of a hefty The Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Classic Cars. The 'UN' numberplate may well appeal to bidders of a more peaceful disposition...
