With just 26,286 miles showing, this Triumph Stag has been used sparingly by its 13 owners, including its most recent custodian, who has had it for seven years. Ten of its 44 years were spent in storage. He reports it as 'running and driving well, with a responsive gearbox'.

The paperwork file includes some past MoT certificates (with the current one expiring in August 2022) plus bills dating back to the 1980s. These show what appears to be a replacement reconditioned engine in 1990 and body restoration work around the same time, when the colour was changed from red to the current Heritage White. There are also references on a sheet of paper to a reconditioned automatic transmission and differential, new Mohair hood, large core radiator, steering rack electronic ignition and electronic water pump being fitted as well, although the exact dates for these are unclear. An aftermarket service record booklet (albeit with two stamps ‑ 25,578 miles in 2013 and 25,590 miles in 2014) and a modern facsimile of the owner's handbook are also in the file.

The Stag's interior and exterior condition is generally good, although the vendor reports that the hood zip needs replacing, and it does have a few small holes on its left‑hand side.
