The Porsche 924 S was created when Volkswagen stopped manufacturing the engine blocks for the 2.0‑litre 924. To replace the VW unit, a detuned unit of the 944's 2.5‑litre straight‑four engine was utilised instead, along with an upgraded suspension and 944 style brakes. This metallic grey 1986 example, with half‑leather black interior, has had 10 former owners from new, with a history folder that includes the V5C as well as MoTs going back to 2003, the original owner's handbook, a Haynes workshop manual and old tax discs. The current MoT is valid until November 2021. Although the odometer reading is 60,490 miles, the vendor reports that there was a documented speedo change in 2003, so the actual total is 105,000 miles. He also tells us that the cambelt was recently replaced. Overall condition is good throughout, although the exterior paintwork does display some scratches.
