This Mercedes‑Benz W124 320 CE Auto boasts both a remarkably low mileage and a superbly‑presented history that completely backs up its recorded mileage of just 28,404 miles. As you'd expect from a car with so little use, it is in excellent condition, with very few signs of wear either inside or out.
Registered in November 1992, the car stayed with its second owner from July 1993 to August 2019, before passing to the vendor. Originally costing in excess of £43,000 new, the factory options on this car included metallic paint ‑ in this case Almadine Red ‑ as well as leather interior, electric sunroof, heated seats, eight‑hole alloy wheels, cruise control, walnut central cubby box, front central arm rest and overmats.
The well‑organised history folder includes the V5, original bill of sale (showing a Porsche 944S was traded in for the Mercedes) plus many invoices from that point onwards. There are MoTs from 1995 onwards, albeit with a break between 2012 and 2015 when, presumably, the vehicle was stored. The recommissioning service carried out by Nair Autos Ltd, a Mercedes‑Benz specialist, in 2015 added up to just over £2036. More recent invoices include a November 2019 one for fuel pumps and filter (£463.70) and another for a full service plus some exhaust work in September 2020, costing £817.60. There are also original brochures, as well as the original Mercedes‑Benz documentation wallet, with dealership directory, key code, radio manual, owner's handbook and service book, the latter being fully stamped up to 2020.
