The Riley One‑Point‑Five ‑ as the company formally described it ‑ was, along with its slightly less well‑endowed sister, the Wolseley 1500, originally intended to be a Morris Minor replacement. However, thanks to the Minor continuing to be a big success, it was decided instead to transform the forthcoming model into small luxury and performance saloons under the Wolseley and Riley badges. Of the two models, the Riley had the more power, boasting almost 20bhp more than the Wolseley. It managed 68bhp from its twin‑carb 1489cc B‑Series engine. This little car appears to be very solid and is described by the vendor as a rust free example that drives well. It comes with a large quantity of receipts dating between 2015 and 2021 and some MoTs. The mileage is recorded at 61,000.
