Bedford's CF commercial was introduced in 1969 to battle Ford's ubiquitous Transit. Although it never quite managed to topple the dominance of the mighty Ford, it was Britain's second most popular van until production ended in 1988.
This 1975cc petrol CF2 version has a tipper rear section installed. It was registered in August 1984 and its odometer is now indicating 45,170 miles. Three former owners are noted on the V5C, and the MoT is valid until March 2022.
The V5C is present, as is a past V5. There's also the current MoT certificate. There are further MoT certificates from 1996, 1999, 2000 and 2001 plus bills and invoices mostly from around 2006. For a classic workhorse, the CF is in generally good order, and was driven 100 miles to the auction with no problems.
