The top of the range MkII Granada was the Ghia X (as here), which included such features as a trip computer, air conditioning and a wood‑panelled dashboard. We're advised that this 2792cc V6 example, registered in August 1984, was stored unused in a heated garage since around 2005, before being put back on the road earlier this year. Its comes with an MoT valid until August 2022, while the odometer reading is (1)29,420 miles.

The paperwork folder includes the V5C, current MoT certificate, trip computer instruction guide, Ford audio guide, owner's manual and spare set of keys. There's also the original service book, with stamps at 24,295 (1985), 35,400 (1986), 39,844 (1986), 42,820 (1987), 47,202 (1987) and 51,276 miles (1989).
A general range of spares is included in the back of this commodious Ford estate, which is in very tidy condition inside and out. In certain lights, it looks the car has had new paint from the nearside front door backwards, which doesn't quite match the original metallic blue shade. The car drives well, with no issues noted during our brief test.
