This example, in Ivory with brown cloth interior, was registered in August 1985, but taken off the road in 1994. However, according to the vendor, it was kept in a good garage under a car cover. In September 2021, it was recommissioned with a complete new exhaust system, new rear brake calipers, overhauled front brake calipers, and new water and fuel pumps. The bill for the recent work totalled £1350.

The paperwork file includes the V5C, original Saab owner information wallet with owner's manual, Saab owners' club brochure, mid-1980s accessories list, Philips radio/cassette instruction manual, and a service book, which records services up to 36,473 miles in 1989. The present mileage is showing as 68,290, although this isn't warranted, while the current MoT is valid until September 2022. Two former registered keepers are noted on the V5C.
This Saab is extremely well-preserved, with its exterior and interior both in very good condition - only some sagging roof-lining, a very common fault on old Saabs, detracts slightly from a very presentable, tidy and clean cabin. The car also drives very well, with no apparent issues aside from a squealing fan belt when cold that would benefit with tightening.
