1980s Nissan Sunny survivors are few and far between, so that this one has made it through to 2022 in very good original and unrestored condition, inside and out, makes it pretty rare. Over two million of these models were built, just 45 remain in the UK. Registered in January 1988, it has had one owner from new until 2016; only two previous registered keepers are recorded on the V5C. The mileage recorded on the odometer is just 47,700 miles, with the vendor reporting that it 'runs and drives very well'.

This example was worthy enough to be included in the Concours for the very popular Festival of the Unexceptional in 2019, a celebration of 'ordinary' classics. Its show noticeboard is with the history file. Also in the paperwork folder are the new car handbooks in their Nissan wallet (albeit rather damp) along with the current MoT (valid until November 2022) and nearly every other certificate from 1996 onwards. There are also assorted invoices from 1988 onwards. The level of care and attention testified to by these help explain why the car has survived so well. It also comes with a period Nissan Sunny brochure and Haynes workshop manual.
