While there isn't a great deal of paperwork with car, there is a typed A4 sheet of paper listing all the work done from March 2009 onwards. This includes a replacement 60,000-mile engine, with new cambelt and waterpump, plus new clutch, at 119,000 miles. A new Lucas alternator went on at 135,000 miles, with a new fuel pump at 138,600 and new front discs and pads at 138,700 miles. The odometer now records 142,351 miles. Also present is the original document wallet with audio instructions and Ford commitment guide and accident repair centre listing (but not the owners' manual or service book). There's also the current MoT certificate, which is valid until March 2022, plus a spare key. Nine former keepers are recorded on the V5C. The car initially seems to have been briefly registered and used overseas, before coming to the UK in 1990, the same year that it was built.
