This one has the 20-spoke alloys, black leather seats (which are heated) and air conditioning. It was registered in March 1994, with the original owner passing it onto his daughter; thus it has been family-owned for all its life, with just one former registered keeper recorded on the V5C. The current mileage is indicated as 129,918 by the odometer, which appears to be genuine judging by the paperwork. The MoT certificate is valid until October 2022. We're told by the vendor that it 'drives lovely'. It looks like the car has had a quite recent repaint, which has been carried out well. There are some marks and a tiny dish-shaped indentation on the bonnet, plus a scrape underneath the nearside rear wheel arch. The black leather interior is in very good order, with the only real wear to the seats being on the driver's and passenger's bolsters.

Included in the history file are the V5C and original Volvo wallet with all the new car documentation including the owner's manual and service record. The latter is stamped up to 71,967 miles in January 2001. However, there are bills for further servicing beyond this, as well as other maintenance. The MoT certificates date from 2011, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2016, 2017 and 2021. There's an impressive quantity of invoices testifying to a lot of care and attention lavished on this 940 over the years.
