Heinkel Kabine microcar production initially took place between 1956 and 1958, but then restarted again in the UK from 1960, under licence to Trojan Cars Ltd. This version was known as the Trojan 200 ‑ the figure relating to the one‑cylinder engine's displacement of 198cc ‑ with production continuing until 1966.

This example is a 1963 British‑built right‑hand drive model. Having been off the road for 30 years up until around 2012, it was issued with an age‑related plate by the DVLA. There was an extensive restoration over 2020 and 2021, which included the car being stripped to bare metal and professionally resprayed in its original Roman Blue colour. The drive‑chain and bearings were replaced, the engine rebored and valves done, and the ignition system, carburettor and brake cylinders were refurbished. The rebuild is chronicled in detail in a diary from August 2020 to June 2021.  

The history file includes the V5C (noting one former owner), workshop manual, Heinkel Trojan Club parts lists, club magazines, copies of old adverts, a three‑page typed‑up history of Trojan manufacture in the UK, and sundry other paperwork. Some of this relates to attempts to have the DVLA reallocate the original registration of WJV 469. There are also several bills, mainly from 2020 and 2021 and relating to the purchase of parts for the restoration, including an exhaust system.    

Aside from a small crack in the paint adjacent to the nearside wing mirror, this Trojan is in excellent condition, having been so freshly restored. The interior, with black and white checked interior, is similarly in fine order. The odometer reading is 22,529 miles. Two boxes of spares are included with the vehicle.
