Although this 2.25‑litre petrol Land Rover Series 3 Lightweight was only registered for the road in December 1997, it was manufactured in 1984 and served with the 8th Infantry HQ, Northern Ireland Signals Squadron as 85 KB 30. The vendor purchased the vehicle in December 2005, but used it very sparingly, generally only using it to drive to MoTs. This is backed up by its MoT history.

The vehicle is currently SORN but has an MoT valid until the start of December 2021. A new bikini hood has recently been fitted, but the vendor describes the vehicle as 'in need of a full service and TLC'. The Land Rover is fitted with 12‑volt electrics.

One previous registered keeper is recorded on the V5C, with the odometer reading 12,150km (not miles). The history folder includes the V5C, military history record sheet, MoT certificates from 2020, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006 and 2005 (when the recorded mileage was 11,107km).
