Lot Number: 183
Result inc Premium: £7,830

  • MoT Mar 2022 - Expired
  • Chassis number: SAJJNADW3DB164760
Jaguar belatedly introduced its full XJ‑S convertible model in 1988, 13 years after the launch of the original hard‑top coupe. This V12 example was registered in January 1990. The previous owner acquired the Jaguar in 2005 and, being a motor engineer, worked on the car himself when required.

The car's MoT is valid until the beginning of March 2022 and the history file includes the V5C (showing four former keepers), Jaguar document folder with owner's handbook, forecourt data card, radio/CD player documentation and other delivery paperwork. There's also a Jaguar accessories brochure and the service booklet, which is stamped up to 67,208 miles (April 2003). The MoT certificates range from 1993 to 2003 and then a handful of more recent ones which seem to confirm the current indicated mileage of 81,917 as genuine.

There's an extensive selection of bills from the 1990s to around the time the car was acquired by its motor engineer owner. The bills then resume from 2021, with recent ones for a new battery and front nearside window regulator and motor, plus MoT work which involved considerable work to the brakes (including new calipers) plus a full service.
