This Moonbeam Silver Metallic Bentley Continental GT V12 was first registered in May 2005. It has been treated to a full Onyx wide body conversion, including a carbon front splitter, boot spoiler and rear diffuser, with the vendor telling us that the task cost over £30,000. Other Onyx touches are the 22in alloy wheels (£6000), and exhaust system.
The makeover also extends to the inside, where the cabin has been extensively and expensively retrimmed. All the wood inlay has been replaced (not wrapped) with carbon fibre, the seats have been recovered in thick perforated black leather with yellow stitching and piping, and the roof lining has also been redone in leather with yellow diamond stitching. The sound system has been upgraded as well.
The paperwork file includes the V5C showing 11 former registered keepers. The service handbook has 10 stamps from Bentley main dealers up to 92,949 miles in April 2016. The present mileage is recorded as 102,764. The current MoT certificate, valid until February 2022, is also present. There's also the previous MoT certificates from 2020, 2019 and 2018. Most of the invoices are from Harwoods Bentley, who looked after the car from 2012 to 2016; they show many thousands spent over this period. We're told that a new gearbox was fitted by Bentley, while a new engine was put in by Harwoods at 44,215 miles, at a cost of £22,000.
There is a Category D Insurance Loss claim (Vehicle damaged but repairable, insurer decided not to repair) for the vehicle dating from November 2008.
