This 1972 Austin Morris ambulance is based on an EA (Easy Access) van with Wadham Stringer coachwork. It was originally used by the Huntingdon and Cambridge Ambulance Service before being sold and used by the eccentric artist and performer Bruce Lacey, who used it for several years before it came off the road.

It has now been off the road for many years, so requires recommissioning or restoration. The vendor reports that both the chassis and fibreglass body are solid, and believes that most of the work would be in recommissioning the 2520cc engine, drivetrain and wiring for future use. It even has the original stretchers onboard.

The only documentation with the ambulance is the V5C, showing the ambulance was registered in December 1972 and has had just two registered former keepers. The mileage indicated on the odometer is 88,596 miles.
