This 1965 Chevrolet Corvair automatic Coupe has been transformed into a 'Yenko Stinger' clone ‑ referring to the 100 road racers created by US racing driver Don Yenko in 1965/1966. Prior to being imported into the UK in December 1992, it reputedly had one US lady owner but was purchased and mildly restored prior to exhibition in a museum in Kansas City. When it came to Britain, after the museum closed, it was registered with an age‑appropriate 1965 numberplate in May 1994. Only one previous British owner is recorded on the V5C.

The Chevrolet features a 2.7‑litre air‑cooled flat‑six engine as well as air conditioning and leather upholstery. The interior was retrimmed in 1999 with new white leather and blue piping. New carpeting was also fitted throughout at the time.
