JBA Motors was founded in Norwich, Norfolk, before moving to Greater Manchester, and started producing its retro‑styled roadsters as kit cars in 1982. The company survived through to 2007. Its Falcon models, as here, used Ford Sierra mechanics as their basis.

This example uses a 2.0‑litre engine from a 1985 Sierra, but was put together in 1998 and registered in June of that year. The vendor tells us that it has only travelled 3000 miles since being built (with the odometer showing 2898 miles), and has had just two owners in total; the builder and the vendor. It will require some recommissioning, with brakes, carburettor and a new heater matrix. There is no current MoT.

The paperwork file includes the V5C, original JBA kit bill of sale, various bills and invoices from 1997 onwards, photos of the build, and the original JBA assembly manual. There's a single MoT certificate from 2002 (when the mileage was indicated as 1295 miles) and some spare keys.
