  • V5 To be applied for
  • Chassis number: KAC13571
This MG Magnette is a very early, pre‑quarterlight example registered in March 1954, and is being sold for restoration. It comes with the original buff logbook and British Motor Heritage certified copy of a factory record showing the car was built from 2 February to 1 March 1954. It is recorded on the MG Car Club’s Magnette Register as the 8th oldest MG Magnette ZA known to the Club. The vendor, who races MG Magnettes, purchased the car twelve years ago with the intention of race preparing it. He purchased it from the previous owner who had barn stored it also for several years. The vendors interest in MG's was sparked by his grand mother, Nancy Mitchell, a works driver for MG in the 1950's.

Due to its early build date, and the fact that famed motoring journalist, Gregor Grant, drove one to fourth in class in the 1956 event, this particular Magnette is eligible for the famed Mille Miglia retrospective in Italy. Running between Brescia and Rome, it is one of the world’s greatest historic events and eligibility rules state only exact models of the type that ran in period are accepted. Mainly reserved for those who own some of the most expensive cars in the world, this MG Magnette offers a rare and affordable entry into one of the most exclusive historic motoring events in the world.
