The SEAT Marbella was a badge‑engineered Spanish version of the Fiat Panda, and was in production from 1980 to 1986 (as the SEAT Panda) and then 1986 to 1998 (as the SEAT Marbella), with styling changes to the front and rear to differentiate it from its Italian sibling. UK survivors are rare; it is believed that only 40 are left in Britain.

This Azul Lara blue example, registered in August 1991, is fitted with an 843cc engine and has been the vendor's daily drive for the last 3.5 years. He reports it to have been totally reliable during that time, with it being driven to the auction. While, being original, the car does show some signs of age, it's in generally good order although the driver's door does display some damage during an attempted theft, and the sunroof is now sealed with black duck tape (with no signs of leaks

inside). The vendor also says that the fuel gauge is 'temperamental but all else works okay'.

The current mileage is indicated as 58,463 and the MoT is valid until October 2022. Five owners are recorded on the V5C, which is present. The history folder also includes past V5Cs, a Haynes workshop manual for the very similar Fiat Panda, the owner's manual (albeit for the Terra van variant) and a few older bills. In addition, there's some rather eccentric notes from a previous owner, written on the back of cut-out cardboard boxes, regarding how to start the car and other aspects of ownership plus a list of jobs done from June 2015 to 2018. The MoT certificates date from 2021 and stretch back to 2019, 2016 to 2015, 2013, 2011, 2009 to 2003, 2001, 2000, 1999, 1998, 1997, 1996 and 1994. There's a spare set of keys too.
