This rather special Fordson Dexta is one of two Fordson Dexta tractors prepared by Fordson Committee Club member, Graham Dell, to travel from John O'Groats to Lands End by road to raise money for a Cancer Charity. It is understood that both tractors were specially prepared and restored for the run, with the addition of a Ferguson sprung seat for driver comfort. The distance of 874 miles was covered in 78 driving hours and on some stretches the tractors were averaging 18mph and 18mpg, Both tractors completed the journey without hiccup.

As if this was not enough, on route they stopped to take part in the Guinness World Record attempt of the most tractors ploughing simultaneously, with a new record being set of 2,141 tractors. A copy of Tractor & Farm Machinery covering the event is included in the sale.

Stated to start and run very well. Comes with instruction book and magazines. 7,928 recorded hours.
