If this Rover P4 looks a little familiar, that's because it has had a starring role in both the Grantchester ITV series and Marvel Comics' Pennyworth (the TV series telling the backstory of Batman's butler, Alfred). In Grantchester, Series 7, the Rover was used as the car of Robson Green's character, Geordie.

The 2230cc Rover was registered in 1959, but initially registered and used abroad. Its date of first UK registration was February 1981, and five former registered keepers are recorded since then. The 75's last MoT expired in November 2021 but as an historic vehicle, it is now exempt from testing.

Included in the history folder are the V5C, as well as the  original buff logbook. There are MoT certificates dating back from 2020, 2017 and 2012, 2002, 2000, 1998. 1990, 1984, 1981, 1978, 1977, 1976, 1974 and 1973, along with tax discs from 1978, 1984, 1985, 1991 and 2004 and a handful of invoices from 2012. Mileage recorded at 24,874.
