Lot Number: 564
Result inc Premium: £1,900
- V5 Present
- Chassis number: D78382
This 175cc Bantam D7, registered in April 1960, was previously the property of a motor museum. Four previous registered keepers are shown on the V5C, and the odometer reading is 10,233 miles. Although there's no paperwork beyond the V5C, a handwritten note indicates that the BSA has been part‑restored, although does not say when. Work done includes a rebore and new piston, rear sprocket, pillion foot rests, handlebar grips, rear brake shoes, resprayed mudguards, petrol tank and tool box, numberplate and battery box. In addition, the decals are fresh, and there's also, according to the note, new kickstarter shaft, rear brake spring, spark plug and petrol tap plunger.
