In 3.8‑litre form with manual gearbox with overdrive and wire wheels, this 1965 Jaguar is in the most desirable Mk2 spec. It was initially exported, in right‑hand drive CKD (kit) form, to South Africa, where it was assembled, painted and trimmed. It returned back to the UK at the end of the 20th century and was re‑registered here in 1999.
Ten previous registered keepers are recorded on the V5C, and the odometer shows 53,848 miles, although this isn't warranted. The car is in very good condition inside and out, with some motorsport related additions such as a quick release fuel cap, light stoneguards and bonnet straps.
The paperwork folder includes the current and previous V5Cs, as well as the Jaguar Heritage Trust Production Record Trace certificate, giving build details. There's also a print‑out of the online MoT history between 2005 and 2018 showing less than 3000 miles covered in that time. The MoT certificates date from 2002 to 2005, 2007, and 2010 to 2013. There's also a selection of invoices from the 21st century, plus some old tax discs.
