The vendor has owned this Morris Minor Traveller ‑ known as Beryl ‑ since 2015, using it as a second vehicle during that time. Improvements carried out since then include electronic ignition, new starter motor, Sikkens preservative wood treatment, new rear door seal and inertia reel seatbelts. The 'Moggie' was resprayed Trafalgar Blue during 2019 and driven almost 50 miles to the auction without issue.

The car was registered in February 1970, and the odometer reads 40,934 miles, which isn't warranted. Just five former registered keepers are recorded on the V5C, and the Traveller is MoT'd until August 2022, despite its status as an historic vehicle.

The paperwork folder includes the V5C, plus a list of the jobs done while in the ownership of the vendor. There are also copies of the MoT certificates back to 2007, with one year missing (2009/2010) when the car was off the road. The mileage in 2007 was 32,090 so in 15 years, under 9000 miles have been covered.

Invoices date from January 2022 back to 2015, and include ones for an annual service (£76) in August 2020, spraying of the underside with oil in 2019 (£192), seat belts in 2017 (£78.78), wood preservative in 2016 (£70.43), starter motor the same year (£2016) and electronic ignition in 2015 (£34.33). There's also a selection of 'Beryl' transfers, for anybody who wishes to go on calling this Morris by the name she's been given.

In 1997, the vehicle was the subject of a Category C insurance loss - 'vehicle extensively damaged but repairable; insurer decided not to repair'.
