This Series III Jaguar E‑type, with very appropriate 'JAG' numberplate, was registered in August 1972. The vendor has owned it since 2018 and says it has only been used in summer and/or good weather since then. The car is described as driving very well and presents very well, inside and out.
The Jaguar is fitted with a five‑speed gearbox, although the original four‑speed transmission is supplied with the car. The vendor reports that the car has been well‑maintained. It also has a Webasto sunroof. Current mileage is 40,936 miles ‑ by reference to the paperwork, this is likely to be 140,936 miles.
The paperwork file is quite large and includes the V5C plus a hefty stack of invoices. These include an oil service and MoT in September 2021, new alloy header tank in July 2020 (£366.54) and a large selection of engine, cooling and brake parts in January 2020, costing £3617.
