This Ford Escort was bought new by its French owner in 1988, and used it around the Brittany region until around 2008, when it was parked up in a dry barn. When the barn was sold some while later, the Escort was uncovered and made its way to England in 2020, where it was recommissioned and returned to the road. We're told the work included a new cambelt along with a full brake overhaul and master cylinder. Right-hand drive headlamps are now fitted, although the original LHD items come with the car. The MoT is valid until February 2023 and was passed with no advisories. According to the vendor, no welding has been done or been required. The under-bonnet area is described as excellent. The history file includes the UK V5C showing one owner in the UK. There's also a copy of the French ownership document with four inspection stamps as well as the HMRC NOVA import notification.
