Lot Number:
Estimate: £14,000 - 16,000
  • V5 Present
  • MoT Exempt
  • Chassis number: 1082P
The Lotus Europa was one of the pioneers of mid‑engined road cars, being launched in 1966 and staying in production through until 1975. However, it was only during 1971 that Lotus' 1577cc Twin‑Cam variant was introduced.

This example was registered in November 1971 and has had seven previous registered keepers from new. As an historic vehicle, the Lotus no longer requires annual testing; its last MoT expired in July 2019, after the car having been tested at 92,617 miles. The odometer current reads 09728, which we assume is 109,728 miles.

The car was originally yellow; although more recently our vendor changed the colour to  Peacock Blue to match his Bentley, this change has not yet been altered on the V5. In August 2007, it was the subject of a Category C insurance loss, although our vendor can see no evidence of any damage. Fitted with a galvanized chassis.  The interior has been part retrimmed in Alcantara

The only paperwork is the current V5C and some past ones.
