The Honda Super Cub range of mopeds has been in continuous manufacture since 1958 with production now well past 100 million, making it the most produced motor vehicle in history.
This C70 example was bought almost new in 1981 by the vendor's father and used for his parish rounds until he passed away. All of its subsequent keepers ‑ there have been six owners overall ‑ have been members of the same family. The vendor, a doctor who used it for his rounds during summer, describes the Honda as 'running well and great fun; ready to ride anywhere'. The moped was registered in August 1980 and the current mileage showing on the odometer is 23,788. Its last MoT expired during July 2014, having been undertaken the previous year at 23,778 miles. Recent work includes new front suspension bushes.
The history folder includes the present and past V5C, owner's handbook, and MoT certificates from 2010, 2011 and 2012. The used motor cycle purchase invoice from October 1981 is also included ‑ with the price of the C70 back then being £285. There's also a spare set of keys.
