This example of BMW's flagship grand tourer of the 1990s was registered in January 1991. The vendor acquired it in 2010, but has only done around 4000 miles between then and now. It has been kept in a garage when not in use. The current mileage is recorded at 150,048 miles.

Work on the 4988cc V12‑engined car since then includes four new Toyo Proxies tyres, new front discs and pads (2011 and 2012), rebuilt automatic transmission and torque convertor (£1932 in 2011) and ABS unit, and a service with fresh ignition leads, spark plugs, filters and Castrol oil (in 2012). However, as the BMW has been SORN for four years, it will need some further recommissioning. The car is now MoT'd until December 2022 though. The bodywork is in generally good condition but there are some age‑related marks apparent.

The paperwork folder includes past and present V5Cs (showing 12 former registered keepers) and the current MoT certificate plus ones from 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. A selection of tax discs date from 2004 through to 2013. There's also the owner's handbook, Brooklands Performance Portfolio specific to the model plus electronic throttle control training reference manual and a list of service bulletins. The stack of invoices date back to 1990s. One of these bills is for an engine rebuild in 2004 at 129,103 miles costing £4758.02.
