The car was registered in September 2002 and has an MoT valid until March 2023. The current mileage is recorded as 139,400 miles, which is largely confirmed by the MoT and service history. At around 132,000 miles, there was mechanical work on the rod bearings/bolts, while circa 136,000 miles saw a major service that included the valve clearances, VANOS refurbishment, fluids and filters changed, the subframe reinforced and rust prevention carried out at the rear, in order to future-proof it. According to the vendor, the underside has been inspected and judged to be in very good condition. The major refurbishment and maintenance work was done by a BMW M3 specialist, with all of the jobs detailed. The vendor tells us the car has been garaged over winter and only seen dry use.

The history folder includes the V5C, a large stack of invoices and MoT certificates dating back to around 35,000 miles in 2006, and the original book pack with handbook, fully-stamped up service book and other paperwork, plus two keys and a factory key.
