Lot Number: 574
Result inc Premium: £3,024
  • V5 Present
  • MoT Exempt
  • Chassis number: 9B08DFY108546
This 1256cc Vauxhall Chevette L, in Ruby with red trim, has had two owners from new, a mother and a son. The car was registered in February 1976, making it quite an early example as the Chevette had only been on sale in the UK from May 1975. In recent years, we're told that the the car was used for classic car runs and shows.

The car's last MoT expired in October 2018; it has only done just over 200 miles since it was tested in 2017, with the odometer now reading 24,616 miles. As an historic vehicle, it now no longer requires annual testing, but the bodywork and upholstery do need attention and while the engine runs, there's no clutch or gears attainable.

The paperwork file includes the present and past V5Cs, original book pack with owner's handbook, dealer guide and accessories booklets, older invoices from 1976 onwards (including the original bill of sale, for £1700), some more recent bills including one for electrical work and an oil change in June 2019. The MoT certificates date from 2008 to 2017 and show very few miles covered each year. There's a set of spare keys as well.
