Although originally registered in the United States in 1973, this Norton Commando only returned to the UK in 2021, being re‑registered here in March 2021 with an age‑related plate. The vendor tells us that it has new paintwork and its engine has been rebored with +20 pistons. Also fitted are new silencers, a back wheel and tyre. The carburettors are also, apparently, nearly new. The vendor reports that it runs very well.
The odometer shows 13,397 miles, albeit not warranted, and one previous registered keeper is recorded on the British V5C. There is no current MoT, but as an historic bike, the Norton no longer requires annual testing. The only accompanying paperwork is the V5C. A spare set of keys also comes with the Norton.
