This original UK RHD TR3A was first registered in 1961 and still carries its original Chester issued registration number, 6 VFM. Extensively rallied in the mid to late 1990's by the previous owner, having been driven on some twenty regularity road rallies and three Monte Carlo Challenges, achieving class awards.

Major works and improvements completed over the years include:
Rebuilt engine with a flowed cylinder head, engine lightened and balanced by Moss, racing oil pump and uprated pistons and camshaft. The engine is fitted with an alloy sump and rocker cover, sports distributor and a stainless freeflow manifold and exhaust. The gearbox is fitted with a rebuilt overdrive unit,  the axle has been rebuilt.
The original Worm and Peg steering has been replaced with a Rack and Pinion set up.
The suspension system has been rebuilt with nylon bushes, SPAX adjustable shock absorbers and road race springs fitted.

The brake system has been replaced including master and slave cylinders, wheel cylinders, discs, pads and shoes. New radiator, water pump and heater matrix. New wiring loom fitted, Speedometer re-calibrated, halogen headlamps. The car was stripped to bare metal in 1998 and repainted.

In the current local ownership since 2000. The history file includes a quantity of MoT certificates dating from 1982, assorted invoices, the original buff log book, photographs of the bare metal respray and assorted Rally plaques and paperwork.
