Although manufactured in 1968, this GT6 race car was not registered until 2019. It was used in the Mod‑sports championships in the 1970's and was first raced by Iain Rowley from Delta Motorsports. Remaining unused for around twenty years, it was discovered in a barn and has now been rebuilt for track days but is also road legal. The vendor has provided an in depth list of the many new parts fitted including 1.6kw axial Powerlite starter motor, uprated brakes, uprated anti‑roll bar (1"), stainless exhaust and Accuspark ignition. Described as running well with good pressure, it has been re‑wired from front to back, the engine is a 2 litre with a 2.5Pi head and three 40DCOE Webers.  Please note that upon stripping and blasting the chassis, no discernible number was found. It was entered into the DVLA Rebuilt Classic scheme when a new replacement chassis number was allocated and age related plate issued after being authenticated as a 1968 GT6 by the Triumph Sports Six Club. It comes with Triumph Sports Six Club and DVLA documentation, photos of rebuild, invoices and list of works undertaken. It records 23 miles.
