1971 Ford Capri GT 3000 MKI

The vendor acquired this Ford Capri 3000 GT recreation in August 2021, but it hasn't been used after being imported from South Africa in summer 2019. It has yet to be registered in the UK. The 1971 Ford comes with paperwork from the DVLA stating that a new VIN number has been issued, but will need to undergo an inspection due to the upgrade (from a 1.6XL) carried out in South Africa. The new owner will need to attach the new VIN and have the vehicle inspected. The vendor reports that the car was in good, clean condition when last used. It was last started in September 2022, when it was found that the brakes are faulty, so it will require attention to these. It is believed that the car has been restored at some point, but the paperwork accompanying it is very limited.
