1979 BENELLI LS 500

This 499cc Benelli LS, first registered in Italy in 1979 and then imported to and registered in the UK during March 2014, was purchased by the vendor in May 2021 as part of a collection, but hardly ever used. The vendor describes it as ‘a wonderful bike with low mileage, and it rides like a dream’. It was ridden to the auction site from Norwich, during which its four-cylinder, four-pipe configuration apparently sounded amazing. The odometer shows 18,637km and the last MoT expired in June 2016, after having been tested at an indicated 18,221km the year before. However, as an historic vehicle, the Benelli no longer requires annual testing. At the moment, the bike has a flat battery so this may need replacement. Paperwork with the bike includes the V5C, old MoTs and an original Benelli manual.
