The 646cc BSA Golden Flash was the first model in the BSA A10 series. While it was available in black and chrome, it was its distinctive golden paint scheme that gave the model its Golden Flash name. Production ran from 1950 to 1963. This one was registered in September 1960 and has four registered keepers recorded on its V5C. Its odometer shows 27,151 miles and its last MoT expired in May 2018 after having been tested the previous year at 26,563 miles. As an historic bike though, the BSA is now MoT-exempt. Its numberplate of 5343 MH is the original registration. The vendor describes the BSA as running and riding well, and it took part in the 2023 Goodwood Revival motorcycle parade during September. It has recently been serviced and features a 12-volt upgrade, dynamo belt drive and steering lock. Paperwork includes the V5C, a Haynes workshop manual, MoT certificates back to 1996, and handwritten notes on work done between April 2007 and August 2023. There's also some invoices and magazine articles relating to the model, plus some old tax discs and a spare key.
